This is the first house in the Netherlands who received a certificate of good PassiefBouwen for the design and implementation of its development. The materials used in making this house is wood. Wood was chosen because of its beauty and cradle cradle principles, but also because of the comfort and acoustics. Organic insulation material and wood pulp used in conjunction with the most modern insulation materials used in the petrochemical industry. This house is a house of neutral energy, electricity generated by wind turbines on the roof so that it can save electric energy. The house is also using low-tech solutions, such as summer comes on the ventilation system works by opening the shutter on the ground and the top floor and increase the thermal mass, adobe walls shown on the floor sleeping. Adobe is enhanced with phase change materials that absorb heat during the day and set it free again at night.
